This "toy" has given me countless hours of entertainment while I wait in doctor's offices, airports, and during endless tv commercials. Don't know what I would do without it. It never gets boring.
I FIND THIS HAND HELD GAME MOST ENJOYABLE, AND FOR ME MOST OF ALL WHILE I'M IN MY THINKING ROOM. MOST PEOPLE READ THE PAPER, OR MAGAZINES, BUT I LIKE MY YAHTZEE. IT HELPS MY MIND WORK WITH THE NUMBERS AND TRYING TO ADD UP THE TOTALS BEFORE THE GAME DOES, AND IT MAKES IT VERY REWARDING FOR ME TO DO THIS. OVERALL EXCELLENT HAND HELD GAME.
I personally own this black 1995 version and have had it for several years. The gold one doesn't keep your high score and tends to re-set itself if it gets a bump or doesn't like the way you are holding it. I don't know what Milton Bradley was thinking, but there are some problems the gold one has this black one does not.
I actually keep it in my briefcase because being this version is no longer being produced, I was afraid replacing it with the same black version would be hard to do if it got lost. I used a Sharpie Marker to blacken around the outside screen area on the gold one I purchased so my son could see the screen better. It has been on several family vacations and business trips.
The gold one because of the color, creates a glare on the screen that makes it difficult to see the screen. I purchased the updated later issue in Gold color and was really disappointed with it vs. this black one.
The black one seems to be a more durable game. So, save yourself some disappointment and get this black one if you can.
TOO OVER PRICED FROM THIS COMPANY. GAME IS LOTS OF FUN. MY HUBBY PLAYS WITH IT FOR HOURS AT A TIME. GOOD GIFT FOR HOSPITAL PATIENT.
Fantastic Time Killer - But poor materials and design led to failure of the product in less than two months - Also the price increased almost 100 percent - NOT RECOMMENDED
